My Poetry

“If the artist stands at a distance from himself, he may be able to see that even in the depths of his deepest well of darkness, the art itself is still illuminated. The poet falls, the poem ascends. In the end, everything changes and the only thing that remains true is the expression of the moment.” Paul Eisenstein

Below are poems I’ve written, spanning over a decade of my life to date and more are being added regularly. I am no longer today who I was when I first began writing, nor even who I was in the progression of that duration, so you will find a mixture of emotion and expression, contemplation and resolution. But all of it is still me, and it is all still my heart and my spirit, both of which seem to stand the tests of time… and of life. . . . ~ en`joy ~

I don’t create poetry, I create myself, for me my poems are a way to me. Edith SÖdergran
